Suffolk Show Success 2011
On June 1st and "nd the marybelle cows were shwoing at the Suffolk Show, near Ipswich. Over the 2 day show the cows from Marybelle scooped a whole bucket full of awards. Not only did the Marybelle Jersey cows get Champion and Reserve Champion, but the Marybelle Holsteins also got Champion and reserve Champion. Then Jane, one of the holsteins, went on to win the Champion Interbreed - which outs her as the best Dairy cow in the county!
This is a superb acheivement for the cows at Marybelle - obviously helped along by their owner James Strachan. Here are a few links to stories about the cows that showed up in the local papers - enjoy!
