Marybelle gets Greener by winning Bronze
Marybelle are very pleased, honoured and proud to have been awarded Bronze in the Suffolk carbon Charter Awards 2011. Although receiving Bronze means we have a lot more to do to get to Silver and Gold, but we have action plans in place to get us there over the next couple of years. One major step towards getting Greener is using Solar Power for our electricity needs at the Marybelle plant at Walpole. Other measures include looking at our lights, heating and wastage to make sure that we are as effieceint as possible. All of our staff are bought into the idea of getting Greener and we think this will be a very exciting year for Marybelle.
Marybelle are also very excited that they have acheived themselves a place in the Anglian Business Green 50 - basically we are one of the 50 greenest companies in Anglia, helping to make Suffolk the Greenest County!
