The All Breeds All Britain Calf Show takes place every October at the Royal Agricultural Showground in Stonleigh, near Warwick. In order to attend the show the cattle and handlers must first compete at their local level, and win their class to qualify for a place to represent their county at the Nationals.  The regional qualifier for the Suffolk team takes place at the Suffolk County Show in June, on the Thursday morning.  There are four different classes for the handlers, Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Mature; these are grouped by the age of the person.  There are then six classes of calves to be judged with an overall Champion chosen at the end of the day.

Once the regional show has taken place, a team of calves and handler are out together to go to the National in October to represent Suffolk.  A stand must be build to represent the team, and a two day show takes place.  All together a thoroughly enjoyable event!
