First came the traditional glass milk bottle, then the plastic alternative - and now a Lowestoft supermarket has launched the "Greenbottle".
James Strachan, executive director at Suffolk dairy Marybelle, whose milk is contained in the new packaging, agrees that Greenbottle represents a genuine customer and environmental advance.

In 2005 our Suffolk Meadow Yogurt was recognised at one of the most prestigeous food events - The Great Taste Awards. Up against the best national and international producers our homemade Greek Style Yogurt took the Gold award and our Natural Yogurt took the Silver.

Marybelle finds success at the All Breeds All Britain Calf Show, with Katherine Strachan winning the Champion Showman on the Saturday, and our Jersey calves taking first and second place in their classes, winning Champion Jerset and Reserve Champion interbreed.
Dietitians at Alberta Milk today are sharing valuable tips on preventing high blood pressure through their newly created, free resource, DASH to Good Health. This resource is based on the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) Diet, a specially designed diet rich in fruits, vegetables and milk products that is proven to control high blood pressure."The DASH diet is welcome news to Albertans battling high blood pressure," says Lee Finell, Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator.
