A new environmentally-friendly milk bottle is set to go on sale in supermarkets throughout the UK.

A host of top athletes have hailed the recovery powers of milk on the back of two new pieces of groundbreaking research.

Olympic sprinter Marlon Devonish, champion decathlete Dean Macey and long jumper Greg Rutherford were all quick to celebrate the news that milk may promote better recovery after exercise than both water and isotonic sports drinks.

On June 1st and "nd the marybelle cows were shwoing at the Suffolk Show, near Ipswich.  Over the 2 day show the cows from Marybelle scooped a whole bucket full of awards.  Not only did the Marybelle Jersey cows get Champion and Reserve Champion, but the Marybelle Holsteins also got Champion and reserve Champion.  Then Jane, one of the holsteins, went on to win the Champion Interbreed - which outs her as the best Dairy cow in the county!

James Strachan was made it to the finals and was announced Runner Up to the FG/Waitrose Best Young Farmer Producer of the year 2007.

On Wednesday 3rd October 2007 Marybelle & Suffolk Meadow were awarded the prize of Best Dairy Producer of the year at the EADT Best of Suffolk Food & Drink Awards.
